Many don't know what humanity has to offer. In fact, no one knew what it had to offer to begin with.
We walk among you, living in fear of being discovered by them. We look just like you. We eat just like you do. We sleep, walk, talk, and almost act just like you. But in fact, we are never going to be just like you. The fact is, we are plenty different than we really seem. In fact, we are almost the complete opposite of what you'd think we are. We are the complete opposite of you as well. So before I even start this, get your facts right: we will never be just like you. After you read this, you will never look at others the same way you did again. In fact, I bet you'll be hiding in your jacket when you walk down the street while your going home tonight, trying to stay as far away from a humans touch as possible.
That is, if they are humans.
It all started in the nineteen-forties, when World War Two was just begging to explode all around the world. The Natzies saw they were probably coming to a loss, but that didn't stop them from doing anything in-humane they could. They took in humans, volunteers or captured warriors, to begin their testing. They wanted the best Super Human they could. they didn't care weather they killed a living soul or not. They just wanted some killing machine they could use for their side of the war. Many men and women died one after the other, only a few surviving to tell their story. Some children were used in the process, though less than all survived. A few people grew to gain extraordinary powers, though more than none knew how to use it to their advantage. Or use it at all, quite frankly.
Word got around quickly, and soon, all of the world seemed to be in a race to create the world's strongest and bravest super human. Many people died of this treatment, while others escaped in the process of testing their powers. No one knows for sure what finally ended the war - Super Humans or normal soldiers them selves. All they knew was that people with extraordinary powers were on the loose. No one knew where they were hiding, or when they would be discovered again. Or even if they would be discovered again. Only a few remaining Paranormals were actually caught, a few of them with the abilities needed to catch the runaways. The world never thought of using them, though, thinking they would rebel against the forces of the law.
Though May Have Proved Themselves WORTHY.
***
It is now the year 2026. Many Paranormals have fled to the outskirts of a lonesome town in southern Nevada. A small town unknown by most was founded by both mortals and Paranormals alike, though we were lucky enough to stay hidden from the world while we structured ourselves in a town that seemed suitable enough for our standers to fit in with those who were so lucky to become normal humans. Many generations have currently passed, some might thinks. Though, what ends here is now only what we call Generation Three. Most think of that as a code now a days, learning of a few others that know our secret word. We keep each other company and protect each other from harm. A few years ago, we thought there wasn't to be any harm where we were living.
But the government proved us wrong.
Sure enough, Division One spotted something they sought to be dangerous activity brewing in our little hick town of St. Claire. Many paranormals fled when they could, leaving only a few of us behind, and even less to come home again. Division One sought to destroy us all. Or at least learn of our uses that divided us all into groups of many. Many were afraid, and those who were dumb-founded enough to fight back were never seen again. Many families who were found out were taken away one by one, few usually being left to flee. Others were taken as groups, their house being swarmed out of some surprise attack. Many people were mistaken for us different people, no one knowing why they were being attacked in the first place. Division One kept our race a secret, though he know not when we will be discovered.
I beg of you, please! be one of the last who can defeat Division One. There seems no hope in sight. As time grows nearer and nearer, we know the time is counting down to the arrival of a new war that is setting on us all. I hope, dear god, I hope, that one day, a hero will arise among us all and take down Division One. Too many lives had been killed for no reason. Too many lives are at risk today. I beg to god that our countdown will be final when we take down the men that took our loved ones away.
Will You Be The One To Save Us All?
